When installing, Windows doesn't recognize this and presents the "Select drivers to install box". The drive I'm trying to install to is a qcow2 thin provisioned file. I succesfully installed other operating systems (including Windows Server 2008 and Windows 8.1) using the same set-up. Click on the option 'view full driver details'. When you find your driver, click the down arrow to expand the window and see more info/details. For this T140 server, it's the one that MobTec listed. The guest has two drives attached: an install disk and the latest Windows virtio drivers ISO (from here). What you need to do is search out the latest perc driver for your server. Other research found there were problems with the conbee. I'm trying to install Windows Server 2012 R2 on a Debian KVM host, but it does not seem to find the drivers. This can really help with hardware compatibility/drivers, particularly on newer Intel platforms.
